Bandai Spirits Has ‘Armored Core VI’ Toys On The Way

adminBy adminSeptember 16, 2023No Comments2 Mins Read

While we know that Kotobukiya plans to make model kits for Armored Core VI, Bandai Spirits has also just announced that it plans to reveal some toys from the game later this year.

Specifically, at the Robot Damashii 15th Anniversary event in Akihabara, some Armored Core VI toys have been announced and will be revealed at Tamashii Nation 2023 this November.

These will be Robot Damashii toys, but the number and type are yet to be determined. In that, these may be Metal Robot Damashii toys, which include diecast parts, or just regular Robot Damashii figures.

While Armored Core VI already received a figure of Nightfall for the collector’s editions of the game, this was a fixed pose plastic statue without any articulation or diecast parts.

Robot Damashii figures are much more complex in terms of their articulation and often feature an array of additional gimmicks and accessories.

My guess is that the first Robot Damashii figure will be of Nightfall, as that’s pretty much the game’s “mascot” at this point, not to mention having a cool part in the game’s story.

I would like to see Rusty and his two Steel Haze builds given the Robot Damashii treatment too, not to mention some bigger and more involved Hi-Metal R figures at some point.

The big thing to take away from all of this is that Bandai Spirits is part of Bandai Namco. So these toys should end up being rather special, as Bandai Spirits has a direct line into the game’s development team and assets. Not to mention an enormous amount of experience in making excellent mecha related toys.

Armored Core VI is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. Feel free to also check out my review.
