Today’s ‘Connections’ Hints And Answers For Tuesday, November 21

adminBy adminNovember 20, 2023No Comments4 Mins Read

Looking for Monday’s Connections hints and answers? You can find them here:

Hey, folks! Before we get started, I need to apologize. I accidentally included all the answers in the Connections Groups section of yesterday’s column, giving away everything a bit earlier than you may have expected.

I’d hate to spoil the game for anyone, especially since I’m still enjoying it so much (Connections is going to feature high on my games of the year list). That’s not okay, and I’ll be more vigilant to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

Today’s Connections hints and answers are coming right up.

How To Play Connections

In Connections, you’re presented with a grid of 16 words. Your task is to arrange them into four groups of four by figuring out the links between them. The groups could be things like horror movie franchises, a type of verb or rappers.

There’s only one solution for each puzzle, and you’ll need to be careful when it comes to words that might fit into more than one category. You can shuffle the words to perhaps help you see links between them.

Each group is color coded. The yellow group is usually the easiest to figure out, blue and green fall in the middle, and the purple group is typically the hardest one to deduce. The purple group often involves wordplay, so bear that in mind.

Select four words you think go together and press Submit. If you make a guess and you’re incorrect, you’ll lose a life. If you’re close to having a correct group, you might see a message telling you that you’re one word away from getting it right, but you’ll still need to figure out which one to swap.

If you make four mistakes, it’s game over. Let’s make sure that doesn’t happen with the help of some hints, and, if you’re really struggling, today’s Connections answers.

Connections Hints For November 21

Scroll slowly! Just after the hints for each of today’s Connections groups, I’ll reveal what the groups are without immediately telling you which words go into them.

Today’s 16 words are:

  • FLOSS
  • STRAW
  • HIP
  • TUSK
  • VAMPIRE
  • HOT
  • FANG
  • VOGUE
  • CANINE
  • ROBOT
  • VACUUM
  • CHIC
  • WORM
  • MOLAR
  • IN
  • LEECH

And the clues for today’s groups are:

  1. Yellow group — the domain of dentists and vets
  2. Green group — cool
  3. Blue group — akin to the Charleston or moonwalk
  4. Purple group — like your least favorite sports team (or maybe even your faves on a bad day)

Need some extra help?

Be warned: we’re starting to get into spoiler territory.

Today’s groups are…

  • Yellow group — types of teeth
  • Green group — fashionable
  • Blue group — dance moves
  • Purple group — things that suck

Connections Answers For November 21

Spoiler alert! Don’t scroll any further down the page until you’re ready to find out today’s Connections answers.

This is your final warning!

Today’s Connections answers are…

  • Yellow group — types of teeth (CANINE, FANG, MOLAR, TUSK)
  • Green group — fashionable (CHIC, HIP, HOT, IN)
  • Blue group — dance moves (FLOSS, ROBOT, VOGUE, WORM)
  • Purple group — things that suck (LEECH, STRAW, VACUUM, VAMPIRE)

My personal best win streak just got even better, as I’m up to 15 victories in a row. Today also marked my fifth straight perfect game.

I figured out the purple group first, though I would argue that a STRAW itself does not suck. You suck things up through a straw. A more apt inclusion here would be TORONTO (I actually like Toronto, but as an adopted Montrealer, I’m duty bound to say that Ontario’s capital city does indeed suck).

Next up was the green group, which was straightforward because I’m so very much with it. Likewise, I can obviously pull off all the dance moves in the blue group with ease, so I recognized that connection too. That left the yellow group to seal up my latest victory.

That’s all there is to it for today’s Connections clues and answers. Be sure to check my blog for hints and the solution for Wednesday’s game if you need them.
