As Samsung prepares to reveal the high-end Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 handsets at next week’s Galaxy Unpacked event, the South Korean company is offering a tempting package of discounts and offers on a key Galaxy smartphone.
Launched in October 2023, the Galaxy S23 FE is Samsung’s price-conscious version of the Galaxy S23. This “Fan Edition” sits in the space defined by high specifications and low prices, the so-called flagship-killer smartphones. Forbes’ contributor Adam Doud reviewed the S23 FE, picking out the high-quality screen, impressive camera, and long battery life.
US consumers can now pick up the Galaxy S23 Fan Edition with a significant discount along with several special offers.
First, there’s a straightforward $75 discount on both the 128 GB and 256 GB storage models. Samsung is also offering a trade-in program for various handsets (and not just Samsung handsets). With offers up to $450 depending on the phone and condition traded in, plus the latest discount, brings the potential cost of an S23 FE to $105.
At checkout, Samsung will also offer a $130 discount on a set of Galaxy Buds2 Pro, taking the true wireless buds to $99.
Samsung also has a number of partner offers, including six months of Microsoft 365, four months of SiriusXM, two months of Adobe Lightroom, and a month of Arc Site.
While this S23 variant was launched before the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy AI, Samsung has back-ported its AI services, making them available on the S23 Fan Edition. It may have been released last year, but the software remains up-to-date and ahead of the AI curve compared to other similarly priced smartphones. With these offers, Samsung is offering consumers one of the easiest and most accessible routes to an AI-powered smartphone.
